A Eulogy for: Aunt Laura Gillison’s Family
Martha Ann, Russell Jr., Charles, Rose, Harris, Donna, & Sally
And
One Surviving Brother: Samuel (Sammy) Williams “My Best friend always”
Susan and I deeply regret that we are unable to be with you in this time of sorrow, but rest assured that our prayers to our God for the comfort of the Holy Spirit and the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ will be upon each of you, throughout this difficult time.
As we send our heartfelt sympathy and share in your sorrow we cannot be sorrowful. I am a long time witness as to the life Aunt Laura lived. Truly she was a Godly woman and she lived her life unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Also all of you know and have witnessed the same. And at this time of her going home we all can be assured that she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and you can’t get any better than that. So we must rejoice!!!
We will close with the words of our dear savior “Jesus Christ”
John 14:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
Here! Just pause for a brief moment and just imagine a few nights ago Jesus fulfilled that promise for our sister Laura Gillison when He came by that nursing home and went into her room, stood smiled, and said come with Me: your new home is now ready. “Just imagine the joy on her face” How can we be sad?
Our Love Always in Christ
