Ken and I worked at the NRO together. We were tasked with several different projects and crossed paths off and on for 20 years or more. Our last assignment was network certification and accreditation. We acted like the old men of the environment but we’re glad to have each other to troubleshoot with. He never turned down a challenge and always had time to talk. As a follow veteran, we covered some of the same dirt, often chewing it over and over again. I will miss my friend and I miss providing him used IT equipment so he could clean them and issue them to others less fortunate. If I know my friend, he’ll want to be on his way, no time to blubber and cry over his departure. Ken always aimed high, he will be missed.
