When my wife and I lived in northern Virginia, Kenny would often stop by our home just to visit, catch up, and make sure we were doing well. Even after we moved out of the country, he never let distance get in the way. He kept in touch by phone, and I always looked forward to our conversations—sharing the latest, laughing, and hearing his familiar, steady voice.
On a recent trip back to northern Virginia, Kenny met me at his sister’s house, and we spent time talking about life, family, friends, and everything in between. It was simple, genuine, and a perfect reflection of who he was.
Kenny was a good and caring man, and I’m truly going to miss my brother-friend—his thoughtful advice, his kindness, and the way he was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Rest in peace, my brother.
