Ruth, I don't know if you remember me. I lived next door to you and Kenneth on Mimosa Street. I just heard about Kenneth's passing and wanted to say John and I are so sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. John and I thought a lot of him and he will be missed. He loved giving me a hard time, which was fun. He told John he was going to get him a big bottle of aspirin when we told him we were getting married. We are so sorry for your loss.

From Kaye: When I first saw Ken talking with Ruth, I wasn't sure about him. I was riding my bicycle and somehow managed to run over his foot. My stamp of approval. Who knew then, he would be my brother-in-law after that event.
From Carl: I first saw Ken when I came to date Kaye. He said I needed to be kind to "the kid." Then I also learned that same night he referred to Kaye as "Rumble Gums."
