Katherine Heinbaugh's Obituary
Katherine Heinbaugh, 68 passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She retired from Spotsylvania County in July 2004 after 26 years of service.
Katherine is survived by three daughters, Teresa Stailey and her husband, David of King George County, Debbie Rodgers and her husband, Leonard and Jeanie Medley and her husband, Larry, all of Spotsylvania County; two sons, Ricky Heinbaugh and his wife, Donna and Ray Heinbaugh and his wife, Andrea, all of Spotsylvania; a brother, Gordon Weeks, Jr. of Fredericksburg; a sister, Christine Gayle of Manassas; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her long time companion, Ronald (Jake) Gordon.
Katherine’s family will receive friends Friday, October 8, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Ray Farrow officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Brooke Memorial Gardens, King George. After burial Katherine’s family will receive friends for a time of fellowship at Mine Road Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, Katherine’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mine Road Baptist Church Youth Missions Fund, 11111 Post Oak Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
