I grew up in Ravensworth Farm, where the McKee's spent some early years. My sister Barb and I swam on the swim team there with Tommy, Jim, Diane, Lori and Lynn. What a great swimming family. We always loved Mr. and Mrs. McKee. They were such a very nice and loving family. Even when I launched a huge sparkler into the branches of one of their trees and we thought the place would catch on fire and burn their house and camper to the ground! Ah, the good old days. Their homes on Drayton Lane and on Braddock Road we still refer to as the "McKee's home" whenever we are back in Virginia. I am sorry to hear of Mrs. McKee's passing. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

I went to P.S. 89 in Brooklyn...I have known her for so many years since the 40's. She was a great friend.
