Juanita May Daugherty Whitesell's Obituary
Juanita Whitesell of Culpeper, VA passed away Sunday evening September 24, 2017 at home in Harrisonburg, VA at the age of 73. She was the daughter of Louis Edward Daugherty and Cinderella McManamay Daugherty of Waynesboro, VA, both deceased. She met and married James Allen Whitesell in Waynesboro, VA, and they were married for 50 years before he preceded her in death in 2013. She devoted her life to taking care of her family, serving God, and helping others. She is survived by her son Chris and his wife Sharon of Reva, VA, son Terry and his wife Brenda of Blacksburg, VA, and daughter Kim Cochran and her husband Joel of Harrisonburg, VA. She is also survived by her brother Eddie Daugherty of Waynesboro, VA, sister Bea Conner and husband Steve of Waynesboro, VA, and sister Alice Webb and husband Mahlon of Swoope, VA, as well as 4 grandchildren, Heather, Kelsey, Justin and Erin.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West St., Culpeper, VA with Pastor Dan Carlton officiating.
Interment will be held on Friday, September 29 at 11 a.m. at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
