I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joe's passing today. He and I worked closely on an Army project for a number of years and we kept in touch after. He was a witty, kind and humane man of the best sort. He was a friend. I will miss him sorely. Christine, you have my deepest sympathy. Please let me know if I can help in any way. I came to know Joe earlier this year at Booz Allen. He never shirked from helping anyone and had a great sense of humor. In my 20 years with the firm, he was one of the finest people I have come across. I will miss him.
Although I worked with Joe for a brief period of time, he was an exceptional colleague, a role model, and a wonderful human being. His presence would be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sroka family in these difficult times.
