Joseph Donnell Harris' Obituary
Joseph Donnell Harris, 73, of Gainesville, VA passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Mr. Harris was born August 17, 1936 in Sampson County, NC, to the late Alton H. Harris and Lellon Best Harris. Joseph was preceded in death by his loving wife Doris Harris, one brother Billy Harris and a sister Joyce Harris Jones. He was the owner and operator of Harris Electrical Co. Survivors include three children, Tony Harris (Pat) of Nokesville, VA, Pam Moore (Newsome) of Wakeforest, NC and Joseph Harris(Gina) of Catharpin, VA; a brother, William Onzie Harris of Clinton, NC; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2010 with visitation one hour prior to service at the Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA 20109. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Stonewall Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
