Joseph Harry “Joe” Brown, 77, of Reva, VA passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at UVA Medical Center in Culpeper. He was born March 23, 1945 in Oregon to the late John Henry Brown and Mary Louise Williams Brown. Joe graduated from Kan Read Obituary
I didn’t know Joe very well and had only met him one time. We spoke on the phone a few times. But as a fellow woodcarver I know how he felt when he was woodcarving and I know how he felt when he created a masterpiece. Joe, I’m sorry I didn’t get to know you better but I’m glad I got to meet you. Until we meet again my friend. Your fellow wood carver, Mike Micucci.
Joe's smile and laughter could light up a room. Joe was a friend to all. Joe loved the Lord and we know he is in heaven waiting for us. Apple butter making at church will never be the same all the laughter and fellowship was such a blessing. God bless you Charlene and the rest of the family and friends. Joe will be missed.
Joe was my brother-in-law and I have fond memories of him at Kansas State. He would ferry me around campus and the town of Manhattan, KS on an old Honda motorcycle. His time at K-State made me want to go to school there, which I did. He was an interesting person who had a positive effect on my life. He was a fish in the water and always swore he could teach me to swim but gave up after a couple of lessons just shaking his hhead at someone who could not learn to float..
