Jordan came into my life when I was mourning the death of my beloved brother in law. Our family had fought a long hard battle, but cancer took the victory on this Earth. Thankfully, the true victory was ours in Heaven. God has promised us this. Jordan is the light that we all fail to see each and every day. It's always there, but we are too preoccupied to notice. Jordan makes us notice. She truly proved to be the single most uplifting and miraculous person I have been graced with the privilege to know. I taught Jordan during her 6th-grade year, and she never failed to amaze me with her beauty, grace, and determination--even in the face of tremendous physical and spiritual challenges. My prayer is that we all remember Jordan as the miracle that God placed before our eyes, and that we each take from this miracle what is best for us. I pray for you, Mr. and Mrs. DuPriest, as you make your way through this time of grief. I hope that you will take comfort in those around you, and in the knowledge that your beautiful angel changed us all. Miracles do, indeed, happen every day. I know one named Jordan.
My most sincere love and prayers,
Marcella Foster
