Dear Unc
You are truly going to be missed. You were a great man who always showed me and my family unconditional true love.
Thank you for loving my entire family and for always asking about the kids. I remember our last conversations and it broke my heart to see a man with such strength, breakdown and cry. All I can say Unc is that God knows why.
I know after Christine's funeral you asked me to do something for you when this time came. Im sorry I wasn't able to do it at your service. But as soon as you are back home with Auntie I will come and read you your "Change Of Address".
I'm glad I got to spend time with you on your 80th Birthday! The times we spent together in Buffalo and Virginia will never be forgotten.
Enjoy your renewed body, I can see you in Heaven now, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
Give all the fam my love and please watch over my baby girl and help God give her the strength to get through this.

My heart goes out to the entire family during this time. Although life has changed and I’m no longer married into the family, he always treated me as his own granddaughter—with genuine kindness, warmth, and love that I will never forget. That meant more to me than words can fully express.

I’m so grateful for the moments we shared, especially being able to visit and talk with you. Those memories will always stay with me. Your spirit, your love, and the way you made people feel will continue to live on in all of us.

Uncle, I am truly going to miss you. You were everything to me and more. You took me in and nurtured me like a real father would. Uncle, you taught me to believe in myself. You taught me how to drive. You always laughed at my jokes, and that meant so much to me.

The last time I saw you, your smile was priceless. It could light up any room. I remember watching you look at your Godson and sister-in-law dancing, and seeing that tear fall from your eyes. That moment will stay with me forever.

Uncle, you never gave up. You fought with everything in you until the very end. Your strength, your love, and your spirit are things I will always carry in my heart. Thank you for loving me and loving my village. Thank you for all the memories with your grandchildren, singing songs together. I can hear your voice now singing Down by the River—that was your song.

Pops, (I call him Pops because he was a and will forever be another Father figure to me). Thank You for always being there for me when no one could or would. Thank You for making sure I stayed close to God even when I didn't understand the plan or reason. Thank You for praying with me and for me. Thank You for your unconditional love.
