My condolences to Karen, the children, grandchildren, John’s father and brother, Vincents two, sister, in laws and loved ones. I’m so glad that I came with other members of the Knights of Columbus Arlington Council (EDW). It was such a beautiful service, so well done by Fr. Brian McCallister, and those who prepared moving, informative, serious and humorous eulogies, along with the fellowship and repast.
I can’t help but comment on John’s visage on so many of the photos I took the time to gaze on.
John had such a look of contentment, happiness and fulfillment. I must pay tribute to the love and warmth of family that Karen and her family gave to John (I’m sure it was mutual) that produced that fruit of inner joy in a now happy man at peace. God bless you all. I felt like I witnessed a miracle that took place over time., bringing John where he needed to be 😇. Well done, Karen, and her Chapman family 🙏. Well done.
JT was always so thoughtful and kind. From Fauquier to Prince William, every time he saw me he would bring me Starburst- always making me smile and lightening the day. He will truly be missed. Rest peacefully my friend.
