Mom..a friendly, caring, compassionate, unselfish, loyal, hard working, talented,Christian Lady. I remember as a child your wonderful cooking and numerous dinner parties you and Dad hosted with you doing all the cooking, yummy aromas from the kitchen. Your talent as a pianist, you could make those ivory keys dance. You wanted me to be able to do the same but with little success, I did try. God had given you that special gift. I hope you have a nice grande piano in Heaven to play, the angels will sing. One of your favorite songs being "How Great Thou Art". I do have to thank you for giving me your love for flowers. You surely did enjoy them. I will always be grateful that you taught me to enjoy needlework long before I started school. It has given me hours of pleasure as it did for you over the years. We all have many pieces of your handy work in our homes. The one thing I will always remember is your unconditional love. I know I disappointed you many times, but you were always there for me, always forgiving. You also had the same pride and love for Doug and your grandsons, Stephen, Sam and Scott and great granddaughters Julie and Jill. The devestating disease of Alzheimers robbbed you of your memory over the past months but I could still recognize that love in your eyes and your voice. It couldn't take that away from you.Mom, enjoy your new life in heaven, I know you're happy. I'll miss you but I'll be okay, have my loving family here. You have left me a spectacular legacy, I will do my best to keep it going. I will not have a problem with my love for God and my family. You were the best example any daughter could have had. Mom, until we meet again...remember, I Love You Very Much
