Jesse T. Garland's Obituary
Jesse T. Garland, 85, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
Jesse had a strong relationship with his Lord and always kept his faith close to his heart. He was a founding and lifelong member of First Bible Baptist Church. Jesse was a kind man who never met a stranger and always had a joke ready to put a smile on your face.
He is survived by two brothers, Max Garland and Robert Garland (Joan); two stepdaughters, MaryAnn and Donna Kovak, and many nieces, nephews and other loving extended family.
Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; his siblings, Arnold Garland, Stella Peterson, Grace Naves, Ross Garland, Glen Garland and Carson Garland.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Historyland Memorial Park,11227 James Madison Pkwy, King George.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the staff at Hughes Home, Mary Washington Hospice and Paramount Assisted Living for their dedication and care to our beloved Jesse.
