Jerry Wayne Allport's Obituary
Jerry Wayne Allport, 62, of Stafford, VA passed away on August 31, 2017.
Jerry was a graduate of Gar-Field High School and lived most of his life in the Woodbridge, VA area. He began his career as an apprentice with Cross Electric, and later became a Master Journeyman Electrician. He got great satisfaction from mentoring others in the trade. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was most content with a fishing rod in his hands. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind sisters, Jo Ann Brown and Donna Corser; brothers, John and Justin; mother, Sally Olsen; niece, Shannon Meade; nephews, Christian Worrell and Eric Meade; and great nephews, Brett and Preston Meade. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Vic Brown and Jack Corser; and sister-in-law, Rose Allport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; sister, Janice; and brother, Jimmy.
A private service and celebration of life will be held for family and close friends at a future date.
