Kim Brainat and family. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. With me not doing well myself I just saw this. I am truly sorry. I know Dickie was a wonderful dedicated and loving person. I have never forgotten all the times he picked me up and was there for me like a dad honestly. He was true volunteer . What an honor it was for me to meet and visit “Fire Chief” while I was hospice chaplain. We enjoyed reminiscing about the “old days” and how proud we were of advances in fire and rescue during our lifetimes. He never doubted that his time was near and was comfortable with his destiny.
