Jason William Hawkins' Obituary
Jason William Hawkins, 36, of Culpeper passed away from complications related to diabetes on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his home. He was born April 19, 1978 in Alexandria, VA to Robert William and Robbie Diana Cox Hawkins.
Jason was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Arlington, VA Post 3150 and Sons of the American Legion Annandale, VA Post 1976. He was also a life member of the NRA and an adamant supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He was employed by Barcroft Management Company for 18 years as a boiler engineer.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Robert Wayne Hawkins and his wife, Lisa of Ft. Belvoir, Va and Russell Jay Hawkins of Mogadore, OH; his maternal grandmother, Robbie Elizabeth Cox; aunts and uncles, Charles B. Hawkins, Lee A. Hawkins, Jane McKnight, Nancy Smith, Lisa Dundervill and Kevin Cox; one nephew, Nicholas W. Hawkins; and numerous cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 4 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Brad Hales officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private at a later date.
