James Arnold Wilder's Obituary
James Arnold Wilder, 69, of Amissville died Monday, November 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 18, 1946 in Pekin, IL to the late Edgar and Helen Boles Wilder.
Mr. Wilder served his country in the US Marine Corps for over 8 years and spent 37 months in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member and 2 term Commander of the American Legion Post 330 in Culpeper and member of Boot Camp Platoon 145, MCRD, San Diego. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, golf, spending time with veterans, working with guns, loved animals and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Huston Wilder; one daughter, Lori Ann Armbruster of Covington, GA, one sister, Pam Dillard of Monmouth, IL; sister-in-law, Barbara Wilder; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Wilder.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Sgt. Jim Rogers, USMC [Ret.] officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
