Sending lots of love to your family. I never had the honor of meeting Jim but I know he raised an amazing daughter, Jeanette, and that she is a living tribute of what an amazing man he must have been. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I first met Jimmy when my family moved to Va. Beach in 1999. Jimmy and his wife Ester were my next door neighbors. Over the following few years it was my privlage and honor to become very close friends with them . Not only were Jimmy and I very close but he became very close with my wife and daughters as well . Even after moving apart I maintained communication with Jimmy speaking with him several times per year on Memorial Day and Veterans Day . Over the last year we again relocated to northern Va and I was lucky enough to be able and go see Jimmy on several occasions . Jimmy was not only someone whom I considered one of my very best friends but one of my heros as well . Jimmy will be sorely missed by myself and my family . It has been an absolute honor to call Jimmy my friend .
Jim. It was great sharing our childhood together in Del Ray like brothers. It was the best of times and we shared many escapades together. I look forward to seeing you and our other buddies from Del Ray when my time comes....Love ya Bro..Bob Fones
