I have known Jack since the 5th grade. Fortunately for me, he later became my brother in law. When I visited, we shared many wonderful years quail hunting, fishing, farming, hay making, and walking fields. I am left with many memories of our family porch sitting, eating meals, and story telling with my sister Bobbie, my niece Debbie and my parents, Dewey and Francis.
Forever a friend and brother, I will miss him.

Jack was the most sweetest kindest loving funny soul of a man. What a beautiful blessing to have known him. He always brought us goodies from his garden. Arlene & Peggy loved him soo very much and looked so forward to his & Debbie's visits and we loved hearing his stories. Jack also gave the best hugs so full of love. Debbie, I know you miss him but that beautiful soul is always in your heart because you have his beautiful heart as well! Sending big hugs to you and all the family.
Such an incredibly kind, warm, sincere man! To me, he was one of the last example of a true Southern gentleman. Wonderful memories of him will live on in you, Deb, and all who knew him. Hugs
Debbie I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your Dad. But when the picture was posted of him cracking walnuts, that hit home. My Dad would sit on the porch with his hammer and brick and crack his Walnuts. That’s was a good memory. I know you will miss him. Jack will be missed by many but especially by my family. I'll never forget how he would share one of his 2 honey buns from Hardies early in the am when I was working at the kennel. He loved my tuna casserole and always called me Beb Beb. Rest in peace gentle giant. Please give all the dogs and cats that have passed from the farm a hug from me. (especially Mel)
