James Henry Deering Jr.'s Obituary
James H. Deering, Jr., 70, passed away from natural causes on May 16, 2024.
James was a retired Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He was a member of 'Run for the Wall' group who are dedicated in helping veterans. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion. James was a master automotive tech, and loved his motorcycle. He was a loving and dedicated family man and friend.
James is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dawn Deering; four children, Erica, Sarah, Dejon, and Reggie; a sister; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Deering; his stepson, Gregory Fleming; and a grandson, Colby Lockhart.
