Francis Macdonald
Jim is 2 weeks older than I am. For an old guy, he was smart and didn’t miss a beat.
I’m not sure where and when we met the first time, but it doesn’t matter. The important part is, I got to meet him and his lovely bride. We shared many great times together. Simple things. Cups of coffee in my garage or his; a ride to nowhere in particular, and the list goes on.
He could tell a story. They got better every time he told them.
We spent countless days working to support our veterans and their families. In addition to Rolling Thunder, the Run For The Wall was his passion.
I think of him often. My last wish is to ride into the sunset as Jim did doing what he loved to do.
RIP, my friend.
