I have fond memories of visiting Uncle Jim and family when I was small. Heartfelt prayers to his family. Debra Dorrell (Conway)
Jim was my manager at IBM for several years. He was a just and honorable man.

I will forever be blessed by Jim, who along with Juanita and countless others in the house church, gave so much to me and my parents over the years in the form of prayers, encouragement, and counseling. Jim was truly the "hands and feet of Jesus" in my life. Many hugs to all of the Conways.
Love,
Ruth Ann (Iseley) Vaughan
Dearly beloved friends in Christ,
Every day you are in my thoughts and heart as we travel through this journey together, thanking the Lord Jesus for his grace and mercy and worshipping Him as we say goodbye to our friend and spiritual father Jim Conway, until the time we all will be reunited with him in heaven.
One of my favorite Jim Conway sayings has carried me through many stressful job situations. In the midst of stress, I can hear him in my heart, "Do the best you can every day and God will take care of the rest." The last time I saw Jim I told him even though we are far from each other in miles, he is with me every day through the storms of life through this word he spoke so many years ago.
Thank you Juanita for your faithfulness to the Lord Jesus, to your family and to the Body of Christ. We love you and bless you in Jesus holy name.

My Dad just sent me an e-mail regarding Mr. Conway's passing.
Mr. and Mrs. Conway were an intergral part of my spritual growth and maturation. Their commitment to the youth of our church has been priceless, and the seeds they planted in us on Thursday evenings in their basement, have yielded much good fruit.
When I was a teenager, and the entreprenurial bug bit me, Mr. Conway was one of the pioneering customers of my fledgling Chimmney Sweeping business. His faith in me to do the job, and do it right, were a great confidence builder, both then, and now.
Mrs. Conway, as you read this, I hope that the joy of knowing that you will be reuntied with your husband one Glorious Day, will comfort you and keep you until that Day arrives.
I rejoice because I know that one Glorious Day that I will see Mr. Conway, again, along with every other Brother and Sister who:
* Accept that they are separated from God by their sin, and realize that there is no way that they can change that.
* Believe that Jesus Christ, through His death on the Cross, has restored our relationship with God.
* Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (both risen, & returning)
Blessings,
Craig Willard
Precious memories linger as it was the Conways and Williams who invited Lynn and I to attend a Bible study they were hosting which introduced us to the Bible, love of the brethren, prayer and a sweet time of fellowship. As a result of experiencing this both Lynn and I came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ resulting in a personal relationship with Him. Jim's sweet spirit along with Juanita's encouragement were an example to all of us in the body of Christ and I can still remember brother Jim sharing that his favorite scripture was Ephesians 2:8. For by grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God not of works lest any man should boast. Jim shared that our natural man wants to do works to please God when in reality it is not anything that we can do to boast about but simply a gift that you receive by faith. Thank you Jim and Juanita for your faithfulness to the Lord in reaching out to us when we were sinners and allowing Lynn and me to experience His free gift and grace. We give thanks that our dear brother Jim is now safely home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that he is no longer suffering but abiding in His presence. Our love and prayers go out to the Conway family at this time.

My memories of Jim go back to the 1960's when we both worked for IBM under the same manager, Johnny Massie, who just happens to be another devout Christian and man of God. I am forever thankful to have had the good fortune to have worked with jim as I always considered him a friend and a person of the highest integrity, calm nature and just one heck of a nice guy. Years after IBM we then became neighbors in Amissville which is when I first met Jaunita. I just have to say, Nita you are one sweet and dedicated wife and mother.
You and your Family have our deepest condolence.

Although our paths did not cross extensively in the recent past, Jim and Juanita as one will always be a precious part of the fabric of our Christian journey. Jim's quiet, steadfast manner was a sturdy anchor within the Body of Christ. Perhaps the major remembrance that we have of Jim is that, while on earth, he was a solid Christian gentleman and gentleman who loved the Lord with all his heart. We thank the Lord for the gift of Jim and know all heaven rejoices with his glorious ascension. May the Lord's comfort and peace be upon all of us who so loved and miss him.
