My most sincere condolences to the entire Gilmore family.
Jackie was a larger than life character, in Culpeper, and she instilled that same characteristic in her son, my dearly departed life partner, David.
I know, in my heart of hearts, that Jackie & Wussy, and David, are all reunited in Heaven.
It was my honor and my blessing to have known her for most of my adult years.
I will miss -- so very much -- being able to call her and hear her familiar voice and her quick wit!
Prayers for the comfort and peace of warm memories, to her children and many grandchildren.

Aunt Jackie (our mother's sister) was an unmoving anchor between our two families. I cannot begin to understand how this loss will impact Chuckie, Elaine, Jeannie, and Alan. My mother always talked about her sister and how she tried to keep us all together. They are both together now and I hope they can continue to comfort each other. Bless you, Jackie.
Our sincere condolences to the entire Gilmore family. May God's grace surround you and provide strength and comfort during this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Gilmore’s passing. She was indeed in a class all her own. She was a legend. God bless you all.
Mrs. Gilmore was a beautiful lady I always enjoyed talking to her and sharing stories about our children and her trips to Charlestown. She will be missed by everyone.
To all Jackie’s family,
Your mother was one of the first people I met in 1973 when we moved to Culpeper. Then I met your Daddy! They were so welcoming and so much fun! They were very tolerant of me bringing my little ones in with to wait for my vehicle to be finished!
I really miss them both!
Chuck and Alan kept my car on the road but were very glad when I finally got a new one!!
Our prayers are with all of you.
Alan and I will be out of town at the time of the visitation but we’ll be thinking about you!!
Sincerely, Peggy Place
I'm so sad to hear about Jackie. The Gilmores have been a huge part of my life since I was young. And David was essentially my father in law for many years.
Sending all of you so much love.
