We are all so very sorry that you are gone Jackie. Our childhood memories are filled with joyful times spent with you, Alda, Barb and Roger. You made us laugh, helped us pick the right boys to have as our "boyfriends" and later as we became teenagers you showed us by the way you trieated Alda how we should expect to be treated. You cheerfully participated in our little plays at church, some of which were really aweful, but you laughed and winked your encouragement ever the good sport. As we grew into adult hood we always knew that you were only a phone call away. Always ready to make us smile, build us a house, or share a silly story. We are truly grateful for every smile you shared with us. While you may not be able to accept a phone call now we'll meet again, in our fathers house. We'll see you, give you a big wink and then we'll all smile. We'll have some stories of our own to share as we get reacquainted some that will make you laugh and others that will make you marvel as you realize the huge impact you had on our lives. Until then, you are ever in our hearts.
Alda, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts ache for your loss. Rest in the arms of our Lord, he's ever vigilant in his love for you. He will ease the ache in your heart and dry the tears from your eyes. God loves you so much more than you realize. With each beat of your heart know that you are important to him and he is present with you now and forever. We love you too, you taught us about who God is and how much he loves us. Every time we see a map we remember that God always has an alternate route ready should we lose our way or take a wrong turn. That he loves us so much that he'll create a new highway in the middle of a mountain if that's what is required to fullfill his plan for us. And we remember the day that you explained it to us. A simple truth that reveals so much about our fathers love. It is our hope and our prayer that you are more aware of his presence than ever before, now when you need him more than you ever have before.
