Hazel Lee Hawkins Veltoven's Obituary
Hazel Lee Hawkins Veltoven, 75, of Culpeper died Monday, March 6, 2017 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1941 to the late Milton and Lucille Brown Hawkins.
She is survived by two children, Fulton Lucas, Jr. of Culpeper, and Sharon Lucas Dwyer and her husband, Larry of Bealeton; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Megan and Amanda Dwyer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Veltoven; one daughter, Karen Adele Lucas; and four siblings, Atha Hawkins, Katherine Bayne, Mildred Coughlin and Bessie Norman.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vinton Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard “Gabe” Klonowski, Ken Norman, Steve Norman, Michael Dwyer, Ryan Dwyer and Hugh Bayne.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
