Harvey Gene Jenkins' Obituary
Harvey Gene Jenkins, 81, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at his home. He was born March 31, 1941 in Culpeper to the late Robert Lee and Nellie Brown Jenkins.
Harvey was a proud Army veteran.
Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy Jenkins; his son, Harvey Jenkins, Jr. (Sherry); granddaughters, Megan Jenkins and Sarah Jenkins; one great grandson, Colton Matheny; and two sisters, Dot Jones and Frances Cordle.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Jenkins, Charles Jenkins, Lawrence Jenkins, and Marshall Jenkins.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Allen McConnell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Army.
