Harlan Eugene White's Obituary
Pastor Harlan E. White, 77, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. He is now with Jesus, his personal Lord and Savior.
Harlan was a native Texan, a graduate of Tennessee Temple College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He was a pastor for 42 years serving at Grace Memorial Church for 32 years and was honored as Pastor Emeritus in 2013. He loved learning, teaching and preaching God’s Word. He was known for encouraging others, for his shepherd’s heart, for his sense of humor, for his selflessness, for being kind, merciful and tenderhearted.
Survivors include Linda, his wife of 53 years; his daughters, Joy White and Cara White Satkowski; his brothers, Paul, Phillip, and WD White; and his sisters, Leota Golden and Charlene Julian.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Grace Fellowship Church officiated by Pastor Chris Kropf following visitation at 2:00. There will be a reception in the Fellowship Hall after the service. If you want to honor his memory you may make a contribution to Grace Fellowship Church, Fredericksburg.
