George Marshall Wood, Sr., 78, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at his home. George is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth; four daughters, Brenda A. Canaday and her husband, Mike, Mary E. LaChacz, Lin Read Obituary
Mr. Wood will certainly be missed each Sunday. He and his family sat in the pew in front of us every Sunday at Crossroads Baptist Church. He was always a happy man with a smile on his face and an obvious love of Jesus Christ. Johnny and I will miss him greatly.
