Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,

We all have different journeys,

My loving brother, family get togethers will never be the same. We will miss the teasing, laughter and stories of when we were growing up. I still say you were mommas favorite! George was a part of my family for over 20 years. I say family because George’s attitude was that we work and support each other as a team. A carry over from his military experience. But I felt it came from deeper source; it was from deep within his heart.
I can remember countless nights I’d spent in a motel in Manassas only to have him call and asking me to join him for a pizza or going out to eat. He asked only to relieve me the boredom of being away from home.
Our talks always began and ended with things going on within the family. I can see his face and eyes light up when Lynn, Megan or Kevin started each started new venture. From grade school jobs and then marriage he made you feel a part of this. I will miss these conversations, but I will always have those memories.
I know George would not want us grieve for him and that he will patiently wait for us to rejoin him in the after life. He awaits there with all the people I hold dear to my heart giving advice and comfort to those whom remain here until that day.
Our prayers are with you and the family at this time of sorrow.
