George William Miller's Obituary
George William "Billy" Miller went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 15, 2025. Billy was born on to the late Lloyd and Myrtle Thomas Perryman Miller. He lived at the house he grew up in all his life, and many years lived with his late brother Johnny Miller. During his free time Billy enjoyed baking and cooking for all, hosting all family reunions and holiday get togethers. When he wasn't in the kitchen you could find Billy playing his piano and pipe organ, or playing with his four-legged best friend “Bud”.
Billy was also a proud member of Stevensburg Baptist Church for 55 years where he was the pianist for many of those years. He worked with Earl and Stanley Hawkins for fifty-four years until he began working at the Culpeper Farmer’s Co-op, which he was still currently working. He was a handyman and jack-of-all trades. He could fix anything and build anything. He loved to cook and enjoyed working in his garden.
Billy is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth “Betty” Turner (Donald), Thomas Wayne Miller, Sr. (Lillian), David Lee Miller (Gayle) and Charles A. Miller (Elizabeth); sister-in-law, Marie Miller; brother-in-law, Bobby Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and extended family and friends.
