Gary Lee Coffey's Obituary
Gary Lee Coffey, 66, of Culpeper passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was born in Charlottesville on November 30, 1955 to the late Roby Leroy and Florence Mae Coffey.
Gary’s passions were gardening, fishing, and music. He loved all of his pets.
Gary is survived by one son, Gary Lee Coffey, Jr. of Orange, VA; grandchildren, Kelsey and Ariauna Coffey both of Luray; siblings, Marlon Haggerty (Bob) of South Carolina, David Coffey (Susie) of Boston, VA, and Brenda Jolly of Elkton, VA; sisters in law, Barbara and Glenda Coffey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Coffey; siblings, Ray Coffey, Annie Kennedy, and Doane Coffey.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Novum Baptist Church, 1629 Novum Road, Reva, VA 22735. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment to follow at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery, Parrish Road, Reva, VA.
