Gary Conn Barton's Obituary
Gary Barton, 71, of Spotsylvania County went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
He was a proud Navy veteran. Gary worked as a coal miner and later for Hornady Transportation as a truck driver. His passion was gardening.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Doris; his daughters, Glenna Schubert and Kelly Mastro (Mark); three sisters, Rita Mullins, Sharon Smith (Joe), and Linda Martin (Richard); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his beloved dogs, Dayzee and Blackie; and other extended family.
Gary’s family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle.
