Lorraine and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Fred. I know that he will be greatly missed by many. I was honored to be his neighbor for 15 yrs., but had no idea how involved he was in so many things until I read his obituary. This just goes to show how wrapped up we get in ourselves sometimes. One of the greatest memories I have of Fred is when I first had Penny come and live with me and we were sharing our first Christmas together. I got her a bicycle for one of her gifts. Being a single parent, I had no man in my life so I called on Fred to put the bike together for me. He gladly agreed and so the bike appeared under the Christmas tree on that magical morning. I didn't call on him for a lot, but he was always there if I needed him. Lorraine, I know it will be so difficult for you as Fred was the best husband a woman could ask for. I know you will take solace in remembering all those wonderful 42 yrs. you had with him. Know that I am always here if you should need me. Steph, Kelly and Robert, be there for Mom and remember Dad with your fondest memories. I love you all and God bless!

Lorraine,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. Fred was much more than a coworker of more than 20 plus years, he was a best friend.

Mr Becker, Fred, was always such a GIANT-Hearted man, with an intimidating stare... But, not to be fooled... <3 I have known the Becker's for 20 years now, and I cannot remember a time when his very serious face cracked into a huge smile, then laughter... great memories... He was a very loving, strong, and caring man, an Amazing Father and Husband, and I know he will be missed by so many... I love you all... Rest Easy, Mr. Becker <3 Xoxo, Dawn F. (and Harvey R.)

Went to see Fred many times when stumped by a technical issue (not unusual). He would patiently listen, make suggestions and finally just give up and tell me the answer. A good man. My sympathies to his family. Rest easy, Fred.

Thank you for being my friend and including me in your family. Also thanks for being on call and ready to get be out of housing situations -rain and all. I will miss your deep voice and quick smile❤️

Fred was a good friend and made me feel right at home when I came to the FBI Family. We had great talks about old cars and he had such a big heart and kind soul. I will miss him very much and am grateful for his friendship. My thought and prayers are with his family and friends. Rest in peace Fred.
