I’ve known Frank for a number of years working at Alcoa and Arconic. Frank had such a wonderful way about making sure he got to the bottom of customer issues, helping both the customer and us to be much better. He was so kind and patient. I am still so impressed that he was willing to teach the new folks the business in the last year! What a wonderful example he set for us all. Rest In Peace Frank. It has been a joy to know you!

Frank and I shared many memorable trips together during his Alcoa career. His knowledge and charisma made him an instant hit with everyone we met. I’m glad that I got to know someone like Frank. And I’m truly saddened to learn of his struggle with physical ailments and passing. Rest in peace Frank. You were a great guy!
I first met Frank when he came to Tennessee to interview for a position with Alcoa's Customer Technical service group. Well, he bowled me over with his enthusiasm and energy as well as his technical competence and, of course we hired him! One of the best moves we made as he dug right in and became a premier customer advocate and valued colleague. It was also a big personal change for hime and his family, but he handled it professionally and with that wonderful smile. It was an honor to get to know such a good person, and you will be missed Frankie D.!!
Franklin was one of the most decent, down to earth people I have ever known. We were in the same Sunday School class for a number of years, and he was earnest, inquisitive, and humble in his quest to follow God. He also worked on a number of projects on our Church property, often being the person who saw a problem and who then went about trying to solve it.
His attitude over the past several years since his double lung transplant was truly inspirational. He spent his time inquiring about the well-being of other people, and he was optimistic that he would recover from his health ailments. I always looked forward to seeing Franklin.
Will always cherish the memory of Franklin’s smiles and hugs when we saw him, which wasn’t enough. Susan and Carrie, we love you and are praying for you, especially this week and in those ahead when memories may overcome you. See you Thursday.
