Frances Allene Burbank's Obituary
Frances Allene Burbank, 92, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Heartfields Assisted Living.
Allene is survived by her three daughters, Susan McFaden and her husband, Dennis of Falls Church, VA, Judy Fradin and her husband, Russell of New York and Karen Watts and her husband, Timothy of Fredericksburg; her brother, Bernard Guy Smith, Jr. and his wife, Pat of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Cheryl, Randy, Amanda, Molly and Alex and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lyman B. Burbank.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church, 8951 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, VA. Burial will be in Long Meadow Cemetery, Long Meadow, Massachusetts at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Allene’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Southern Poverty Law Center, 400 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104.
