Evadine was a remarkable woman who we got to know by being her senior visitors with the Senior Visitors Program in Fredericksburg for the past four years. She enjoyed talking about the history of this town and the fond memories associated with it. Evadine was a kind and loving woman who had a real zest for life. Mrs. Evadine was an Angel on earth and now is an Angel in heaven. What a special lady to all who knew her. Although there was an age difference of 35 years between us we were Christian friends; myself as well as my late husband. Our Christian love grew after the loss of my husband as she and I commiserated.
She will be missed till we meet again.

Evadine was a wonderful friend and member of our church and the Agape Sunday School class for many years. She was always joyful and full of life. We enjoyed her positive outlook on life and her fun-loving spirit. Evadine and I shared a close birthday (a day apart, but different years) and a fondness for watching TV episodes of "Castle." Many times we would get a phone call to turn on the TV because a good one was coming on!

We were unable to visit her personally in the last few years but still exchanged cards and phone calls. We will miss her but always remember her fondly.

Evadine Cooper was a role model to us all in living out her faith. Her cheerfulness, kindness, and generosity to others less fortunate was a way of life. No matter the circumstance, she never complained, was grateful for everything, and knew how to put others at ease and made all feel welcomed and comfortable. She deeply loved her family, and her friends, She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace.
