Eva Lois Calvert's Obituary
Eva Lois Calvert, 81, of Culpeper passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 25, 1932 in Cookeville, TN to the late Orb and Eunice Hedgecough.
A graduate of Tennessee Tech, Mrs. Calvert settled in Culpeper in 1968. She became known for her deep love of family and church, and was a longtime and active member of Culpeper Church of Christ. In addition to her community activities, she enjoyed her hobbies of gardening and quilting. Most of all, she is remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Andrew Calvert; four children, David Calvert and his wife, Karen of Culpeper, Robert Calvert and his wife, Judith of Spotsylvania, Randall Calvert and his wife, Andrea of Edgewood, WA and Clayton Calvert and his wife, Mary Becelia of Fredericksburg; one brother, Zina Hedgecough and his wife, Geraldine of Baxter, TN.
Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, Zachary Calvert and his wife, Brianna of Ashburn, VA, Bethany Bettis and her husband, Justin of Culpeper, Mark Mitchell of Baltimore, MD, Lindsey and Keaton Calvert, both of Edgewood, WA, and Katherine and Robert Calvert, both of Fredericksburg; and two great grandchildren, Addyson and Izabella Bettis.
Besides her parents, Eva is preceded in death by one sister, Joan Williams and one brother, Allen Hedgecough.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 12 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Minister Mike Morgan officiating. A two hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
