Emma Sue Boutchyard's Obituary
Emma Sue Boutchyard, 96, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center.
Emma is survived by a sister, Annie Mae Jones of Falmouth; her children, Frances Brooks (James) of Stafford, Frank Boutchyard (Peggy) of Rio Rico, AZ, Peggy Kulynych of Bowling Green, Bobby Boutchyard (Kay) of Rhoadsville, Donna Timmons (Vincent) of Warsaw, and Susan Hirsch (Michael) of Bowling Green; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Boutchyard; her parents, Willie and Annie Kidd; five sisters; and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Zion Church of Fredericksburg, 2222 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Her family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler St., Culpeper, VA 22701.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that contributions be made to her grandsons’ church, Rev. R. Abraham Kulynych, City of Refuge Fellowship, P.O. Box 27, Burlington, NJ 08016.
