Eileen L. Morehouse Leighty's Obituary
Eileen L. Morehouse Leighty, age 95, died on April 26, 2016.
She and her husband, Carl Leighty were married on October 24, 1942 when he was in pilot training. During her husband's Air Force career Eileen was active in military service and civilian community, youth and charitable causes. Since her husband's retirement in 1973 they resided in Flint Hill, VA.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Dowdy and her husband, James; her grandson, Ethan Bussey and his wife, Amy and their son Liam; a niece, Becky Lister; and nephew, David Lister.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 12 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery.
