Cindy Hobus
I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Leighty’s passing. I have known Mrs. Leighty and her husband Carl since I was 7 years old and we lived in Wiesbaden Germany. Once back in Virginia, my mother and I kept close contact, visiting the house both Eileen and Carl built. My favorite memories of Eileen include her wonderful homemade pies, the poems she included in her Christmas cards to me, trips to the Gray Ghost Vineyard, and her sharp wit. I will miss both Eileen and Carl Leighty; but my memories with them will be in my heart. Carolyn and family, my deepest sympathy to you. Cindy M. Hobus (Spiga)
