Dearest Faye and Garland,
I was so saddened to learn of Ed's death in March. Please know you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. It was also sad to learn his son predeceased him. Both my children have predeceased me, my daughter 5 years ago, and one year and 22 days later my son passed away. It is a club no parent ever wants to belong to.

Faye - so sorry to hear the sad news of Ed's passing. We are so fortunate to have worked with him over so many years, and to be able to call him both colleague and friend. You both brought such joy to the day; we have many memories of all being together to cherish. So sorry circumstances prevented everyone from gathering, but hopefully you can feel the warmth and love; it is abundant. Best, Cindy & Rex Edwards
Faye and Garland, Mary and I are deeply sadden to hear of Ed's passing. What a wonderful and gracious Husband, Dad, Brother and friend he was to his family and many others. Ed and I go back to the 50's in cub scouts. We had many cowboy and Indian forts. King of the Mountain so to speak in the early days. Later on we fished the river together behind his parents farm, Horseshoe Farm. Many fish were caught and released. Ed was the one that got me into archery in the mid 60's. I still an archer thanks to him. We made many early morning drives to Kent Store for deer season. Ed and his Dark Green Lark station wagon. Many an early morning, I would meet with Ed in Fredericksburg to fish for shad when the shad were running. Days I will always remember..Ed was amazing in his writing and poetry. He was an amazing teacher, chef, and attorney. An outstanding individual. Can't say enough about Ed. He will be missed by many, along with Mary and I.

My heart aches. Ed met all of his health challenges with a strong faith and comfort knowing you were right beside him as you had been for 51 years. Be comforted to know he is at rest and happy to be with Eddie again. His memories rest in your heart and will stay alive in the hearts of all those who called him friend.
