Douglas Arthur Wood's Obituary
Douglas A. Wood, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Culpeper, VA. He was born on January 21, 1938 in Baxter Springs, KS to the late Frank Wood and Juanita Barton.
He was a long-time educator with a PhD in Pharmacy. He was an avid reader, part-time golfer, and a scuba diving enthusiast. He was also a member of a Culpeper barber shop quartet, the “Forlorn Hope”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Judith Watson Wood; and son, Timothy D. Wood.
He is survived by his son, David A. Wood; and daughter, Andrea J. Sutton.
