In memory of Don, who was married Kathryn, my husband Dick's cousin. We had a lot of fun together on the trips that we took with Don and Kathryn to Alaska, England, Ireland and Scotland. Also trips that we took to Canada, Arizona, and Los Angeles
Don was a Southern gentleman. We always enjoyed going to your home in Kensington, MD , Boston, VA and Emporium, PA, and always felt welcome.
Dick said that Don's tomatoes were the best!
It's hard to believe "Uncle Don" is gone. It's telling that the memories I keep going back to are of of his wry smile, his quiet wit, his dry chuckle, and his Southern gentlemanly style. The world seems smaller and colder without him. Yet, as the husband and partner to a remarkable lady, as a father to two truly special daughters, as a doting grandfather, and in the hearts of so, so many lives that he touched, he's left so much love behind in this world. My heart is with you.
