Donald Eugene Davies Jr.'s Obituary
Donald Eugene Davies, Jr., 68 of Jeffersonton passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Culpeper Hospital. He was born April 30, 1955 to JoAnn Davies White and the late Donald Eugene Davies, Sr. in Little Rock, Ar.
Donald was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a helicopter pilot. He retired from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. He was a loving husband, excellent father, devout Catholic, and Patriot.
Donald is survived by his mother, JoAnn; children, Robert Gregory Davies, Donald Eugene Davies, III and wife, Angela Davies; Christopher James Davies, Stephen Michael Davies and wife, Melissa Davies; and Grace Elizabeth Langford and husband, Timothy Langford; grandchildren, Maria, Joseph, Annie, Genevieve, Luke, Blake, Cole, Brinley, Zachariah, Aubrey, and Lewis who is soon to arrive; siblings, Debra, Diane, Denise, and Danny; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Marie Davies and brother, David Davies.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 15, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church Cemetery, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, VA with Fr. Beres officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
