Dimas Moniz Santos' Obituary
Dimas Moniz Santos, 62, of Spotsylvania County passed away Monday, March 31, 2025.
He was the owner of Azores Construction and was a beloved community member.
Dimas was born in Terceira, Azores and immigrated to the United States in 1977. He was a master in his trade, and was known for his countless beautiful homes built across Virginia. Though he was small, he was mighty. He enjoyed playing his guitar, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He loved fiercely, and was a friend to anyone who met him.
Dimas is survived by his wife, Cynthia Santos; their children, Melissa, Cidália, Olive, and Ethan; his eight siblings, their spouses, and countless nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Liduino and Zulmira Santos.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at his beautiful home in Spotsylvania, VA.
