My husband Peanut met Dimas 23 years ago on a jobsite. Peanut was delivering concrete. Those two hit it off and became fast friends. Dimas became family. You can count on one hand the amount of people Peanut counted as best friends. Dimas was one of them. He had so much love and respect for Dimas. When I had the honor of meeting Dimas I understood why Peanut spoke so highly of him. He was kind, funny, passionate, hardworking, an amazing builder, and most importantly the most selfless family man you'll ever meet. He loved his wife and his kids so very much. Peanut always came home telling me stories that he and Dimas talked about that day. I knew what his kids were up to, plans him and Cindy had, and Ethans girlfriends. He always kept up with what was going on in our lives and with our son Sean. Peanut and Dimas would compare notes between Sean and Ethan. Dimas was always so kind to Sean too. Even though I didn't see him as often as Peanut I still knew what was going on in Dimas's world. They still talked all the time. He had just talked to him about getting his garage finished before his life was cut short. He had a laugh that if you heard it in the distance you knew it was Dimas. Cindy, you and the kids are blessed to have had such an amazing man in your life. It breaks my heart that it was cut so short. Y'all should be traveling and enjoying each other now. My heart hurts so bad for you guys. We are here now and always if y'all need us. We love you guys.
