Delphia E. Day, Jr.'s Obituary
Delphia “Del” E. Day Jr., 67, passed away on March 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 22, 1956, in Quantico, VA.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Pamela “Pam” Day; son, Gary Day (Crystal Day); daughters, Sherry Day, Jennifer Coble (Kenny Coble), Kelly Day, and Melinda Harrison (Brenden Lee); his sisters, Nancy Day and Sandra Turner; grandchildren, Ethan Day, Elliott Day, Hayley Harrison, Ethan Harrison, Chase Coble, Bryce Coble, and Arlo Day.
Del served in the Army as a diesel mechanic for 8 years, where he was able to travel the world while he served his country proudly. He recently retired from CRi after 25 years. Del lived a full life traveling, laughing, and loving with a full heart. Pam was not just his wife but his best friend, the love of his life. He was an amazing father and friend, putting many before himself and taking care of the ones he loved.
A celebration of life will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 2524 at 4:30 p.m.
