David A. Yowell's Obituary
David A. Yowell, 55, of Culpeper died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
He attended Culpeper County High School and followed in his father’s footsteps as an employee of the Coca-Cola Company in Warrenton, Virginia. David served as a salesman and route supervisor with Coca-Cola for many years before assuming a similar position with Anheuser Busch in Northern Virginia. He later moved back to Culpeper and entered the mortgage loan industry with a longtime friend at Cedar Creek Mortgage.
Always the conversationalist, David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was quick to laugh and had a well-meaning heart. He was very good-natured and quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be sorely missed by all of his family and his many friends.
David is survived by two brothers: Donald Yowell and his wife, Debbie, and Edward Yowell and his wife, Laurie Hartmann, all of Culpeper. He is also survived by a sister, Sherrie Burke of Front Royal, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester A. Yowell and Betty Jean Clark.
A private graveside service was held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
